How Deep The Father's Love for Us
How Deep The Father's Love For Us
How deep the Father's love for us,
How vast beyond all measure
That He should give His only Son
To make a wretch His treasure
How great the pain of searing loss,
The Father turns His face away
As wounds which mar the chosen One,
Bring many sons to glory
Behold the Man upon a cross,
My sin upon His shoulders
Ashamed I hear my mocing voice,
Call out among the scoffers
It was my sin that helf Him there
Until it was accomplished
His dying breath has brought me life
I knoww that it is finished
I will not boast in anything
No gifts, no power, no wisdom
But I will boast inJesus Christ
His death and resurrection
Why should I gain from His reward?
I cannot give an answer
But this I know with all my heart
His wounds have paid my ransom
How deep the Father's love for us,
How vast beyond all measure
That He should give His only Son
To make a wretch His treasure
How great the pain of searing loss,
The Father turns His face away
As wounds which mar the chosen One,

What Wondrous Love
John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."
Jesus Christ came to earth in human form and died on a cross. He DIED on a cross. On the third day He rose from His tomb. He ROSE. God is powerful and mighty and He loves His children. Those who believe in Him and love Him and seek to follow Him are His children. Blessed be the name of The Lord.
Hallelujah! What a Savior!

Man of Sorrows! what a name
For the Son of God, Who came
Ruined sinners to reclaim.
Hallelujah! What a Savior!
Bearing shame and scoffing rude,
In my place condemned He stood;
Sealed my pardon with His blood.
Hallelujah! What a Savior!
Guilty, vile, and helpless we;
Spotless Lamb of God was He;
"Full atonement!" can it be?
Hallelujah! What a Savior!
Lifted up was He to die;
"It is finished!" was His cry;
Now in heav'n exalted high.
Hallelujah! What a Savior!
When He comes, our glorious King,
All His ransomed home to bring,
For the Son of God, Who came
Ruined sinners to reclaim.
Hallelujah! What a Savior!

Then anew His song we'll sing:
Hallelujah! What a Savior!
Hallelujah! What a Savior!

Stalking: Me, Myself, and I
When you read the title you probably thought something along the lines of "What? Again with the stalking? Does she ever think about anything else?!" Well, the answer is yes, I think of other things quite often... so there.
One of the very interesting things about "Blogger" that I recently discovered is that there is a "Stats" button on the dashboard. Well, one day I was looking at that button and wondered what would happen if I pushed it (Now don't give me that look! It's not like the button was big and red and had a little sign that said "Do not push" or something!) so being the adventursome person that I am, I pushed it. Next thing you know, the stats window pops up. This window is amazing!
Along the tops there are five buttons labeled thus: Now, Day, week, Month, All Time. Above those five buttons there are four more that are kinda like tabs in a browser. These say: Overview, Posts, Traffic Sources, and Audience. On the side there is a little box that shows how many times your profile has been looked at today, yesterday, this month, and all time. Each tab at the top does a different thing. Overview shows a, well, overview of everything. "Posts" shows which posts have been clicked on and read, how many times they've been clicked on, and pages that have linked to your blog. Traffic Source shows refering URL's, Refering sties, and searchs that brought up my blog. Audience shows what countires my blog has been viewed from, what web browsers were used, and so on and so forth. You can chose what amount of time you want to cover when you click on Now, Day, Week and so on.
I've explained all this so you can see why it's so interesting to go and look at my stats. One of my favorite things to look at is refering sites. Some of the most random things come up! One that I thought was interesting was from Christiancollegeadvisor.com. It's a website that tells you all sorts of information about different colleges, and at th bottom it shows sites that have talked about it. Jackson Hole Bible College's site came up and it said one of my blogposts had refered it... so this meant that someone had come looked at that site and had seen my post and had actually clicked on that. I just thought it was interesting.
Anyways, every once in a while I go and look at my stats and it's actually very fun. I realized that I'm actually stalking myself! It's almost as fun to stalk myself as it is to stalk other people! ;)

Thoughts On The Rediculous
Where is the best place to find a California sweatshirt or T-shirt in California? I really want to know! In all my shopping I've done, it seems as if the only place I ever see Cali shirts are Ross (these are really Roxy shirts, so they don't count) and San Francisco (which I didn't buy partly because by the time I finally found what I wanted it was in a store where everything was crazily over-priced and that store also carried awful shirts, so I did NOT want to support them.). Shouldn't it be easier to find California shirts? It seems like I see shirts for other places all over the place when I'm in that other place, but I hardly EVER see them in Cali! This should be remedied! I actually really really REALLY want an Auburn, California shirt... but we'll see if that ever actually happens.
Another rediculous thing: I've applied for a job. A real job where you work for a certain number of hours every day from week to week. It's strange to think that I might actually get it. Of course, I may just as well not because who knows if they'll think I'm qualified and if they'll accept my application, but still... I applied.
Redunculous! Aimee and Caela are coming home in a little over two and a half weeks! That is so weird and strange to think about! I'm looking forward to it and not looking forward to it at the same. The looking forward to it part of me is actually very selfish. I miss them. I miss them like CRAZY! I can't wait for them to be home so I can talk to them without having to have a random conversation starter. I miss not being able to have late night chats sitting in bed. I miss pretty much everything about it! The part I'm not looking forward to is from empathy. I know it is going to be super hard for them to leave JHBC. They'll be leaving their friends and their home from the past 8 months. They are all like family to them and it's going to be hard to break that family up. Sure, they'll probably get to see some of them again, maybe even this summer, but that's still going to be sad. Who knows when they'll all be together again? I feel bad for them. I know they'll be happy to be home, but I know it'll be hard. As the semester comes to an end and they are wrapping up in the next three weeks, please pray for them. Pray that it won't be as hard for them as I just made it out to be. Pray that they can focus on the time they have with everyone and not think about the parting. Pray they can focus on what they are learning and not be distracted. Just pray for them in general. Thanks. :)
On a happier note, something else that is rediculous... the number of picture I took of Rebekah yesterday. I seriously took about 440 pictures of her. The even rediculouserest thing is that there are only maybe 20 that didn't turn out well. *sighs* I'm not sure whether to be happy they are all good of annoyed at her for being so cute and photogenic! Here is a teeny tiny sneak peak at how funny and silly Rebekah can be when the camera is aimed in her direction. (She's obviously in Bluebelle mode right now and eating miners lettuce.)

Feelings of the Day
Happy - It was sunny today... and almost hot! It was almost overcast, so I got outside and did some weeding. It was lovely.
Tired - Due to above mentioned weeding and the fact that I stayed up late reading least night and it is now midnight, I am tored, so I am going to go to bed soon.
Delightful - That was how my afternoon and evening were. Tim, Nick, and I went bowling with some friends and hung out for a while. Truly, a wonderful evening.
Full - This is how I always feel after In-N-Out for dinner. *fist pump and the crowd cheered*
Sleepy - Which is why I am going to finish this post and just GO TO BED! I don't really enjoy going do bed I've discovered...

Glued
I've discovered something. I really like washing water soluble glue off of my fingers. Just thought I'd share with ya'll. :)
Clearly Beautiful
While working at RNW yesterday I came across this link. It isn't actually used, but I thought it was funny. "Clownservice.com - Classified browsing resource provider offers clown entertainment search" Wow... I never thought that would ever be a real site. I guess I never thought hard enough! *giggles*
Rock-N-Water is very much underway and many exciting things are going on in my life. God is so good and keeping me very busy. As well as working trips at RNW I am now doing some office work. It's not very hard, more mindless tasks that take time. Well, they aren't really mindless, because they take time to do and the doer must have a brain. Well, since I have a brain I qualify. *winks* IUt's actually kinda fun, in a boring way. I'm still enjoying it and I finished my second day. It's only going to be every week or so though, so it won't be too tiring.
Along with that work I am going to submit an application to a bead store about 30 minutes away from us. Lord willing I'll get the job, because that would go a long way towards making enough money to go to Jackson Hole Bible College next fall. I'm still praying about it though. I do not know what God has for me and I'm still waiting.
The other day Matt and Rebekah and I walked around some at RNW. We had a wonderful time marveling and God's creation. While we were looking I noticed something. There were a whole lot of these little grass-like plants growing on the ground. They were each about 3 inches tall. As I was looking at them I noticed that the top of each plant looked like there had been a flower growing on it and the petels has all fallen off. I decided to take a closer look and realized something amazing. There hadn't BEEN flowers on each little plant... there still WERE petels! There were tiny little flowers on each plant! Not only were there tiny little flowers, but the flower petels on the flowers were see through! It was so amazing! I still can't get ocer it. I took a couple pictures while I was in camp today. It's hard to see just how amazing they are, but you should be able to tell that the petels are see through.
Each and every plant and tree and animal and person has been uniquely designed by God. I continue to see and learn this. What an AWESOME God we serve.

Quotable Quotes - Post 1
Introducing "Quotable Quotes"!! I will be collecting quotes throughout the week and trying to post and share them with you. These are just ones I find in books or I hear from other people. :)
"It's funny how different things make different people cry. Some people cry when they get hurt, my biggest problem was when I got boiling mad, but Mother didn't very often cry unless she was real happy. She cried when I gave her the six dollars. At first, she just looked at the money as if she didn't believe it was real - it was a five-dollar gold piece and a cartwheel - then her eyes filled. She pressed the end of her thumb against her teeth for half a minute, as she always did when she was trying not to cry, and then she just bubbled over." Man of the Family, by Ralph Moody
"Half my heart has a grip on the situation. The other half takes time." (I can't remember where I found it)
"This is the story of how I died." Flynn Rider, Tangled
"Could we with ink the ocean fill,
and were the skies of parchment made,
Were every stalk on earth a quill,
and every man a scrib by trade,
To write the love of God above,
would drain the ocean dry.
Nor could the scroll contain the whole,
though strestched from side to side."
- "The Love of God", by Frederick Lehman (This song has been running through my head the last 2 days. Which reminds me...)
"Are you tired? Cause you've been running around my mind all day." - Pickup Line (I don't use these except to be funny with someone I know pretty well.)

Beautiful For Me
We were watching a VeggieTales movie tonight and I remembered a song I liked from one of the ones we watched a while ago. I decided that I wanted to try to find the song on YouTube, but sadly I could not. Instead I found this song. Beautiful For Me
I really liked it and thought I'd share the lyrics with y'all.
Beautiful For Me
By Nichole Nordeman
Every girl young and old has to face her own reflection
Twirl around, stare it down
What’s the mirror gonna say
With some luck, you’ll measure up
But you might not hold a candle to the rest
“Is that your best?” says the mirror to the mess
But there’s a whisper in the noise
Can you hear a little voice
and he says
Has anybody told you you’re beautiful?
You might agree if you could see what I see
Oh
‘Cuz everything about you is incredible
You should have seen me smile the day that I made you beautiful for me
If it’s true beauty lies in the eye of the beholder
What my life and what’s inside to give him something to behold
I want a heart that’s captivating
I wanna hear my Father say
Has anybody told you you’re beautiful?
You might agree if you could see what I see
Oh
‘Cuz everything about you is incredible
You should have seen me smile the day that I made you beautiful for me
Close your eyes
Look inside
Let me see the you that you’ve been trying to hide
Long ago, I made you so very beautiful
So I ought to know you’re beautiful
Has anybody told you you’re beautiful?
You might agree if you could see what I see
Yeah
‘Cuz everything about you is incredible
You should have seen me smile the day that I made you beautiful
You’re so beautiful
Beautiful for me
So beautiful for me
Has anybody told you?
I really liked it and thought I'd share the lyrics with y'all.

Excuse Me Please.
If you read my last post (Dreams.) than I may have confused you a bit, and for that I apologize. I will clarify. I meant that I had a dream once that I had a surprise wedding... it was really very awkward for me in my dream, because I really don't see how I would even THINK of that type of thing. That's why I thought it was a funny example because if a dream is a wish your heart makes than it would mean that I had wished at some point for a surprise wedding. Maybe I wanted a surprise party and had gone to a wedding or something. Whatevere the reasoning behind it, it was odd.
So read my last post if you're wondering what this is all about and I hope you enjoy! :)

Dreams.
Ever wonder what dreams are made of and where they come from? I know I have. It's those strange outlandish dreams that stand out the most in my mind, although I don't remember my dreams for the most part. I wonder what dreams are made of, and I wonder how we can so clearly be told what little boys and little girls are made of when dreams aren't talked much about.
"What Are Little Boys Made Of?"
Author Unknown
What are little boys made of?
What are little boys made of?
Frogs and snails and puppy-dogs' tails,
And that are little boys made of.
What are little girls made of?
What are little girls made of?
Sugar and spice and all things nice,
And that are little girls made of.
(Only the first half of the poem)
(Side Note: I don't fully agree with this poem, because I have met a number of adorably sweet little boys, and a few not so sweet little girls. Just FYI)
Upon further research we find a song written to explain what a dream is...
A Dream Is A Wish Your Heart Makes
By Someone at Disney
A dream is a wish your heart makes
When you're fast asleep
In dreams you lose your heartaches
Whatever you wish for, you keep
Have faith in your dreams and someday
Your rainbow will come smiling thru
No matter how your heart is grieving
If you keep on believing
the dream that you wish will come true
As you can see, in this song we learn that a dream is a wish your heart makes. I don't know about you, but I've never wished for a surprise wedding [somewhat like a surprise party, but you show up and the song they start playing is the wedding march and the groom is a surprise to you (although sometimes I think that would really be the easiest thing) and that's what happens at a surprise party] and so I don't know that a dream is really a wish my heart makes. Of course there are some exceptions, because some of my dreams are beautiful.
According to ScientificAmerica.com there is some sort of connection with your thoughts and emotions throughout the day.
"Some consider this loose making of connections to be a random process, in which case dreams would be basically meaningless. The Contemporary Theory of Dreaming holds that the process is not random, however, and that it is instead guided by the emotions of the dreamer. When one clear-cut emotion is present, dreams are often very simple. Thus people who experience trauma--such as an escape from a burning building, or an attack--often have a dream something like, 'I was on the beach and was swept away by a tidal wave.' This case is paradigmatic. It is obvious that the dreamer is not dreaming about the actual traumatic event, but is instead picturing the emotion, 'I am terrified. I am overwhelmed.' When the emotional state is less clear, or when there are several emotions or concerns at once, the dream becomes more complicated. We have statistics showing that such intense dreams are indeed more frequent and more intense after trauma. In fact, the intensity of the central dream imagery, which can be rated reliably, appears to be a measure of the emotional arousal of the dreamer."
I found this to be very interesting. (although I still don't see how a surprise wedding fit in with ANYTHING).
Anyways, now you know "why" we dream the way we do. I know this is just "scientific speculations", but it still makes sense doesn't it? Anyways, next time you have an interesting dream... think of me! ;-)
