Burger King?

Burger Peasant is more like it! I mean, I like Burger King normally, but the burger king we stopped at on the way home from Jackson Hole on Monday was the worst one I have ever been to.

First off, we went inside and ordered.  The lady helping us was pretty nice, but the other girl behind the counter seemed like she had no idea what she was doing.  I asked for a water with my order, and it did NOT taste good.  It tasted like a mixture of water and gasoline.  It was seriously the worst tasting water I have had in my entire life.

Secondly, each of us girls got a $1 sundae.  Now, I wasn't surprised that the picture looked better than the actual sundae, but people... this was the puniest sundae you ever paid a dollar for!  Aimee and Caela got theirs first and were shocked at how small they looked... Aimee decided she was going to ask the lady about it and the lady said "It's only a dollar, what did you expect" or something to that effect. The lady who had served us said "Three swirls, that's what I'm supposed to do." There was a guy that was about to order when Aimee asked and he said that he was planning on ordering a sundae, but he didn't want to pay for something as small as that.  The woman behind the counter said "Well we'll just get the dollar from someone else."  We were all rather shocked at her response.  Right before we were leaving the guy ordered one and asked for extra ice cream, AND THE LADY GAVE IT TO HIM! The guy commented something like "All you need to do is ask for extra", and he paid the same amount as we did.

Thirdly, Nick ordered two chicken sandwiches.  He said that when he ate the first one it was find, but the second one the bun was smaller than on the other one. (What?)  Then he said that the Double Cheeseburger that he ordered only came with one piece of cheese.

The best part of the entire meal was probably the side salad, that was worth $1.  The lady even gave me two kinds of dressing.  Although, she did forget to give me MY ice cream and I had to remind her and show her my recipe.  She also forgot to give Caela her entire order... that was lame also.

Here is a picture of my wonderful ice cream sundae... beautiful right?

My Crazy Wonderful Family

We went on a hike to Hidden Falls last week during the JHBC Reunion.  It was a nice little hike, not too big of a deal, and it was really wonderful.  We just got back from the same hike plus a little bit more, and it was again wonderful.

While we were at Hidden Falls we had a couple pictures taken.  None of us are looking at the camera in this picture because Derrick Zuk (a great photographer and 2010-2011 JHBC alumni) took it while we were looking at a different camera.  He did a great job!  I think this one probably looks better than the one where we were looking at Aimee's camera!

I love my family.  Sometime we get on each others nerves, but doesn't everybody?  I am truly blessed to have the siblings and parents that I do.
