Hole in One... Jackson Hole in One Day that is. ;)

Getting ready to leave has pretty much taken up my day.

My sisters, Nick, Tim, and I are going to leave at around 4 AM tomorrow for Jackson Hole! I am soooo excited!

I haven't written on here in a while, and I'm hoping that I actually have a little more time to write when I'm in Jackson... although I have no idea if that will happen. *laughs*

Anyways... I'm going to go finish packing then go get some zzzzZZZZZZ's.

Happy Father's Day everyone!

I just wanted to take a moment to share a little about my father.

HE'S THE BEST!!  I love him so much and I'm so blessed to have him as my father.  He is a wondeful leader, the best provider, and he loves and cares for us so much!  He gives up so much for us kids, and I know we are all grateful.  We are so blessed to have him.  I thought I'd share a few pictures.

It's June!

Oh my head! Look at what month it is! It's JUNE!
Does anyone know what that means?!?! It means it's my birthday month!

Here it is, already the third of June, and I hadn't even realized that my birthday is this month! You know what made me think of it? The fact that I already got a birthday present! Not only was this birthday present from someone that I didn't know, but it was completely unexpected! I got a present from Cost Plus World Market! I signed up as a member a while ago, and I suppose I had to give them my birthday.  Well, today I got an e-mail with a $10 reward! Isn't that just too cool! I can't wait to go in there now and use it! *giggles with excitement* What an unexpected pleasant surprise! *grins*

There are quite a few exciting things going on this month! One is that my birthday is coming up. *woot woot* Another is that the Resolved Conference is coming up too! I can't wait to go! I've been wanting to go for a few years, but I never actually did.  This year the girls and I are going and it's going to be sa-weet!


I remembered something else! It's the month where I can use that rediculour Syles For Less membership card and get 20% off my entire purchase.  Getting that card was one of my many learning experiences and I was so annoyed at it. *chuckles*

Right now I can't really think of any other exciting things that are going to be happening this month, mostly because I don't know what the Lord has planned, but we'll see and I'll make sure you stay updated! *smiles*

(I'm thinking water will be involved at some point.)

It's Almost Like A Jigsaw Puzzle

There's a whole lot of stuff I'm trying to figure out right now, and I'm having trouble getting it all figured out to my liking.  I know that sometimes it won't actually ever be to my liking, and that's fine cause I know God's will is better than my own, but sometimes life just seems insane.
All this figuring made me think of this quote from It's A Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World.

"Look! We've figured it seventeen different ways, and every time we figured it, it was no good, because no matter how we figured it, somebody don't like the way we figured it! So now, there's only one way to figure it. And that is, every man, including the old bag, for himself!"


This evening I was thinking about how things are so mixed up and need to be sorted out in my head.  Wouldn't it be nice if you could just waltz into your head with a few shelves and filing cabinets and just organize everything?  The way it's set up right now it seems that as soon as I dig something up there's something else that's gotten covered up.  It's almost like looking for a needle in a hay stack... but I digress... back to what I was saying... I'm so glad I'm not the one in charge, and I'm glad that God IS in charge.  He knows exactly where everything goes, and He created a spot specifically for each thing.  Sometimes I think, for just a second, that His organization system is messed up, but then later I see exactly how His design is soooo much better than mine.  Praise be to God, King of the world. *smiles*

So now that I've written this out I feel so much better.  It seems that I start of a post with frustrated thoughts, but by the end I can say just how amazing God is and how much I can trust Him.  Maybe this whole blog thing was a good idea after all.
