Yellowstone on a Sunny Day
There we were... riding in the bus on the way to Yellowstone. It was a beautiful sunny day, the kind of day where you feel so perfectly comfortable in your t-shirt and jeans. Yeah, you know the kind of day I'm talking about. So, here are some pictures from that perfectly wonderful day.
Hiking in the Hole
A few weeks ago we went on some hikes. A day hike, then a backpacking trip, then another day hike. Such beauty! It amazes me that we live in a fallen world, yet it is still so beautiful. I can't imagine what beauty the perfect world would have had, and what beauty there will be when the earth is restored. Here are some pictures from my hikes.

We then went on a 3 day backpacking trip to Glacier Lake with a day hike up to Paintbrush Divide on the second day.

A couple days after we got back from our backpacking trip we went on a day hike to Phelps Lake. Beautiful!

A Retreat and a Rodeo
The first weekend in Jackson the students and staff went on a retreat to Old Faithful Christian Ranch in Idaho. It was a fun time of fellowship and getting to know the other students. I don't have many pictures, but here are a few of the team building activities that we did do.
We had a bunch of group challenges where we had to accomplish certain tasks. My group was great! We accomplished every task faster than anyone else, and it was so much fun! That was a fun day. :)
For the above challenge we had to get everyone over this spool (that was able to spin). We had to all start on one side and then lift/crawl over the top of it. We did pretty well. We then had to do it a second time, and this time we weren't able to hold the spool steady, so it was a little harder.
For the above challenge the teams had to start on one side of a series of logs and we had to walk all the way from one end to the other. The hard part was that there were gaps that we had to move logs from another part of the challenge and fill the gap. If anyone fell off they had to go all the way back to the beginning and start over again.
For THIS challenge we had to all get on this log (that was suspended an inch or two above the ground with chains and could swing), then we had to all climb over each other and get in order of our birthdays. It wasn't too hard for us cause we all had pretty good balance, but it was so much fun! Noah thought so too and waved, while Leah actually seems to be yodeling or something.... it was great fun. :)
For this challenge we had to pass our team mates through the "spider web" with them touching the strings the least amount possible. It was pretty funny watching everyone and seeing them all get passed through the web.

For this challenge we had to swing from one platform to another one. The hard part was that we had to get the rope (that was hanging in the middle) without getting off the platform. We all had to stand on the platform to start, then we all had to swing across and all stay one the platform without falling off. It looks like Cally did a pretty good job.
I thought this challenge was really fun. There were two wires that started right next to each other, and they widened out to about 10 feet apart at the end. Two people had to start on the narrow end and lend their hands against each other, then walk all the way to the other end. By the end the two people had to try really hard to balance and not fall down. It was not too hard, but a great challenge!
The day that we got back from the retreat we went to the Jackson Hole Rodeo. Did you know that Rodeoing is the state sport of Wyoming? I had no idea! It was quite fun. Here are a few pictures of us having fun watching. :)

A Long Needed Update...
Hello To All My Followers
I am so very sorry that I have not written a post in such a long time. I have been quite busy with school and have been just keeping up with other people and homework. I think I will be able to be better about it from now on, but because I have gotten so far behind in posting, the idea of trying to catch up on all this time is somewhat daunting. Oh well, here goes...
We got back from our Fall Geology trip to Mt. St. Helen on Monday, and we have had 15 hours of class since Wednesday. This week has been very full, but oh so rich! This last class we had was Soteriology (The Study of Salvation). It was a very interesting class and very educational (it's school doncha know, so I suppose it is good that the class was educational.) ;) We have yet to take the final because the teacher was kind enough to give us an extra day to memorize the page long list of Components of Salvation. I'm very glad he had us memorize it, because it is very useful in understanding and knowing a definition of each term.
Next week we have the class "Walk Through the Prophets", which I am looking forward to. Supposedly it's a fairly easy class, but we'll see. *grins*
I don't have a whole lot to say about random subjects anymore, but I am going to post some pictures of my time here so far. I've not been very good about taking pictures of random life happenings, but I will also try to improve my skill in that area. I have pictures form more major events though! I hope you enjoy!
