Well today has been a long day, and the things of today have been somewhat wonderful. :)
#1: Washing dishes. I really don't know what it is, but I have recently discovered that there is something very gratifying about washing dishes and making the sink all clean.
#2: Doing laundry. Again, I don't know what it is, but having all your clothing but the items you are wearing cleaned and put away feels so good!
#3: Bible Study! I keep learning more and more about trusting God! Today I read about Abraham and how, when the Lord told him he was to sacrifice his own son, he went through the process of doing so without complaining. Abraham trusted God, and God provided an alternative sacrifice. God is so good, and I cannot even begin to fathom just how good He is!
#4: Watermelon. Yep! I've discovered one of the best ways to eat it... cut it up into bite sized pieces and chop up mint, add that to the bowl. Then, squeeze the juice of one lime over the whole shabang and mix it up. Bibbity Bobbity Boo! You have watermelon fit to eat. *winks*
#5: Watching "The Princess Bride" as a family:
"Is this a kissing book?"
"Maybe I was a bit...concerned..."
"I do not think that word means what you think that word means."
"My way doesn't seem very sportsman-like."
"As you wish."
And OH! So many more great quotes!
#6: Great friend who give you great advice in every situation.
#7: Oh, and hey! Did ya'll know that it's SUMMER!!! :)

Tis So Sweet...
'Tis So Sweet to Trust in Jesus
Lyrics By Louisa Stead
’Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus,
Just to take Him at His Word;
Just to rest upon His promise,
And to know, “Thus saith the Lord!”
Refrain:
Jesus, Jesus, how I trust Him!
How I’ve proved Him o’er and o’er;
Jesus, Jesus, precious Jesus!
Oh, for grace to trust Him more!
Oh, how sweet to trust in Jesus,
Just to trust His cleansing blood;
And in simple faith to plunge me
’Neath the healing, cleansing flood!
Yes, ’tis sweet to trust in Jesus,
Just from sin and self to cease;
Just from Jesus simply taking
Life and rest, and joy and peace.
I’m so glad I learned to trust Thee,
Precious Jesus, Savior, Friend;
And I know that Thou art with me,
Wilt be with me to the end.
This song means a lot to me, as I have had the priviledge of learning to trust Jesus with my life. I trusted my life to Him when I was small, and I continue to trust it to Him as I continue to grow in faith. The refrain strikes a note close to home. The whole song is all about how much Louisa (or the singer) trusts Jesus, but the end of the refrain is says "Oh, for grace to trust Him more!" I find that to be somewhat convicting. No matter how much I may trust Him, I can always trust Him with another aspect of my life, another worry, or another care. He should be the One in Whom I trust the very most.
I know that I can and should trust god more in so many aspects of my life, and that is what I am striving to do.
"In You our fathers put their trust; they trusted and You delivered them." - Psalm 22:4-5
I need to remember that, no matter how hard it is, no matter how dim the path, no matter what I can (and cannot) see in front of me, God is in complete control.

Do You Have The Time? #2
As you may remember from another post I made a while back, ( Do You Have The Time? ) I pretty much "live" in different time zones, because I think about what the time zones are in different places that are important to me. Last time I pretty much only had two time zones that mattered to me. Currently, I have 3 special time zones.
Time Zone #1: I am blessed to be able to attend the 2011-2012 school year at Jackson Hole Bible College in Wyoming. I have been learning so very very much, and I would not take back this year for nearly anything. Seeing as I'm in Wyoming, I am currently in Mountain Time. I enjoy this time zone, although it is not very different from my time zone at home. Speaking of home...
Time Zone #2: My hometown/the place I will be going back to in less than 2 months/most of the rest of my family in the Pacific time zone. Whenever I think about my family I mentally calculate what time it is where they are. Right now my family is doing a pre-season party for the 49er Fun season of Rock-N-Water and I mentally thought of what the light is like at home and what they would be doing and whether or not they would be eating dinner about now, or if my dad is home from work yet. But, not all of my family is located in the Pacific time zone right now.
Time Zone 3: Two weeks ago today my little sister got married to her prince charming. Now, instead of her name being Micaela R., she is now Micaela T. I love Caela and her husband so very much, and they currently reside in a far away place called the "Eastern" time zone.
There you have it, 3 time zones where my heart resides. What made me think of this interesting topic? Well, I tried calling my little married sister and she didn't answer. Why? I don't know, but she
"has her own life" now and so I don't really mind. I'll talk to her sometime soon. I miss my family in the far spread time zones. But I am so glad that God has placed each of us in the time zone that He has placed us, and I am so blessed by His love.

I Know Whom I Have Believed
2 Timothy 1:12 "For this reason I also suffer these things, but I am not ashamed; for I know whom I have believed and I am convinced that He is able to guard what I have entrusted to Him until that day."
I Know Whom I Have Believed
By Daniel Whittle
I know not why God’s wondrous grace
To me He hath made known,
Nor why, unworthy, Christ in love
Redeemed me for His own.
I Know Whom I Have Believed
By Daniel Whittle
I know not why God’s wondrous grace
To me He hath made known,
Nor why, unworthy, Christ in love
Redeemed me for His own.
Refrain:
But “I know Whom I have believed,
And am persuaded that He is able
To keep that which I’ve committed
Unto Him against that day.”
But “I know Whom I have believed,
And am persuaded that He is able
To keep that which I’ve committed
Unto Him against that day.”
I know not how this saving faith
To me He did impart,
Nor how believing in His Word
Wrought peace within my heart.
To me He did impart,
Nor how believing in His Word
Wrought peace within my heart.
I know not how the Spirit moves,
Convincing men of sin,
Revealing Jesus through the Word,
Creating faith in Him.
Convincing men of sin,
Revealing Jesus through the Word,
Creating faith in Him.
I know not what of good or ill
May be reserved for me,
Of weary ways or golden days,
Before His face I see.
May be reserved for me,
Of weary ways or golden days,
Before His face I see.
I know not when my Lord may come,
At night or noonday fair,
Nor if I walk the vale with Him,
Or meet Him in the air.
At night or noonday fair,
Nor if I walk the vale with Him,
Or meet Him in the air.
All the Way My Savior Leads Me
All The Way My Savior Leads Me
By Fanny Crosby
All the way my Savior leads me,
What have I to ask beside?
Can I doubt His tender mercy,
Who through life has been my Guide?
Heav’nly peace, divinest comfort,
Here by faith in Him to dwell!
For I know, whate’er befall me,
Jesus doeth all things well;
For I know, whate’er befall me,
Jesus doeth all things well.
What have I to ask beside?
Can I doubt His tender mercy,
Who through life has been my Guide?
Heav’nly peace, divinest comfort,
Here by faith in Him to dwell!
For I know, whate’er befall me,
Jesus doeth all things well;
For I know, whate’er befall me,
Jesus doeth all things well.
All the way my Savior leads me,
Cheers each winding path I tread,
Gives me grace for every trial,
Feeds me with the living Bread.
Though my weary steps may falter
And my soul athirst may be,
Gushing from the Rock before me,
Lo! A spring of joy I see;
Gushing from the Rock before me,
Lo! A spring of joy I see.
Cheers each winding path I tread,
Gives me grace for every trial,
Feeds me with the living Bread.
Though my weary steps may falter
And my soul athirst may be,
Gushing from the Rock before me,
Lo! A spring of joy I see;
Gushing from the Rock before me,
Lo! A spring of joy I see.
All the way my Savior leads me,
Oh, the fullness of His love!
Perfect rest to me is promised
In my Father’s house above.
When my spirit, clothed immortal,
Wings its flight to realms of day
This my song through endless ages:
Jesus led me all the way;
This my song through endless ages:
Jesus led me all the way.
Oh, the fullness of His love!
Perfect rest to me is promised
In my Father’s house above.
When my spirit, clothed immortal,
Wings its flight to realms of day
This my song through endless ages:
Jesus led me all the way;
This my song through endless ages:
Jesus led me all the way.

I Will Trust You
I herd this song the other day and it really made me think. I want to trust Him, I'm willing to trust Him, I WILL trust Him.
I Will Trust Him
By Steven Curtis Chapman
I don’t even want to breathe now
All I want to do is close my eyes
I don’t want to open them again
Till I’m standing on the other side
I don’t even want to be right now
I don’t want to think another thought
I don’t want to feel this pain I feel
Right now pain is all I’ve got
It feels like its all I’ve got
But I know that its not
Oh I know you’re all I’ve got
And I will trust you, I’ll trust you
Trust you God, I will
Even when I don’t understand
Even then I will say again
You are my God
And I will trust You
God I’m longing for the day to come
When this cloudy glass I’m looking through
Is shattered in a million pieces
And finally I can just see You
God you know I believe its true
I know I will see you
But until the day I do
And I will trust you, I’ll trust you
Trust you God, I will
Even when I don’t understand
Even then I will say again
You are my God
And I will trust You
And with every breath I take
And for every day that breaks
I will trust you
I will trust you
and when nothing is making sense
Even then I will say again
God I trust You
I will trust You
I know your heart is good
I know your love is strong
I know your plans for me
Are much better than my own
So I will trust you, I’ll trust you
I trust you God, I will
Even when I can’t see the end
And I will trust you, I will trust you. I will
Even when I don’t understand
Even then I will say again
I will trust you, I will trust you. I will
I know your heart is good
your love is strong
your plans for me
Are better than my own
yeah your heart is good
your love is strong
your plans for me
Are better than my own
And I will trust you
You are my God

♥ (h) ♥
Whenever I see the phrase "I ♥ You" somewhere, I automatically think, "Huh? What is that supposed to mean?"
In my head, whenever I see a ♥ instead of the word love, I automatically read it as "I heart you," or "heart so-and-so." I don't automatically read it as "love."
I don't know why I cannot get it into my head what it's supposed to mean. Maybe it's due to that reason that it actually annoys me to an extent when someone writes with hearts instead of the word love. Or even when someone write a heart randomly in a post on Facebook or something like that.
And there you have it, the reasoning behind me not really liking ♥'s so much.
Then again... I end up writting it just as much as some other people do, but not nearly as much as others do. Maybe I feel differently about it when I write it myself. ;)
Oh, and another thing... I don't use it to mean love usually, I just use it as a heart symbol. Oh well, let's more on with life. :)
