Tonight I had breakfast for dinner. Brinner. Pancakes, fruit salad, sausages (although I didn't actually eat any of them cause they were all gone by the time it was my turn in line), croissants, and scrambled eggs. Jello (aka Danilo) didn't get any sausages either. We were both somewhat sad about it, and had a hilarious conversation about it, so I felt better about it. Aimee, Leslie, Sam, and Kaitlyn had to make dinner as their PCMA, so I was able to go with them and I had fun! I cracked eggs with Kaitlyn and learned the most amazing way to crack eggs ever! You hit one egg against the other and one cracks. It's so much tidier than hitting it on the counter.
I can only really remember eating Brinner twice before in my life. I think I was 8 the first time I had it, and it was waffles with blueberries and whipped cream. The second time that I can remember was last Sunday when De-Lish made chocolate chip pancakes for dinner. Only the chocolate chips weren't actually chocolate chips, they were chopped up chocolate hugs. So really, we had hug pancakes. They were very yummy and De-Lish was so sweet to make them for us.
Have you ever sat and watched a fire burn? You know how once you get started watching you have a VERY hard time stopping? It's like you can't tear your eyes away from it because it's just so intriguing and amazing. Well, I've discovered something very interesting. Watching someone that knows what they're doing, and I mean REALLY knows what they're doing, play an instrument is just like watching a fire. While I was watching Dangerman play his hammer dulcimer last night that is how I felt. He played a song that he finished writing yesterday, and while he was playing a different song he started making a new one up. It was so cool! I think I could have sat and watched for hours. (I wish that watching a video had the same effect, but then I suppose I would never get anything productive done, like writing this blog, because you know how productive this is. *laughs*)
Oh yeah, and I thought of Tater-Tat while I was in Dollar Tree cause I saw a whole pack of orange pencils. They were pretty sweet.
Well, now I should go do something else productive, like playing a game. ;-)
