I love flowers. They are one of God's beautiful creations. There are so many different types! So many different colors, shapes, sizes. There are giant Sunflowers that can grow to be 20 feet tall. There are tiny flowers that have blossoms no wider than half an inch. Flowers have so many colors too! Yellow, blue, pink, purple, orange, green, red, white, even black. Some have thorns, like roses, and some have smooth vines, like morning glories. There are so many beautiful flowers!
I've loved flowers ever since I can remember. When I was at JHBC these past two weeks there were a lot of flowers from the Mana project. They were sitting in buckets; there were buckets and buckets of them! They were so pretty! One of the types of bouquets made me laugh, because there were yellow, green, and blue flowers. There were blue daisies, and it was obvious that they were dyed. They made me laugh.
When we were talking about the flowers on the table one day, we started talking about what our favorite flowers were (okay okay, I asked the two guys at the table what their favorite flowers were, and that brought a laugh) but when I started thinking about what my favorite flower was I had a hard time choosing one. I've been asked that question before and I've always just said I don't have a favorite. I don't think I ever will have a favorite flower. It's probably because I have so many memories of different types.
One of my memories is of a certain special flower. The flower is called "Love In a Mist". I don't know why I have such good memories of them. Maybe it's because they always grew back by themselves each year, or maybe it's because there were so many of them that no matter how many I picked there always seemed to be more. I remember that there were hardly any blue ones usually, and how one year there were a ton and I was so excited! When we moved I brought some dried seed pods so I could plant them and grow some here. They got lost and I never ended up planting any.
