The Last Day of Spring Break

Well, two weeks of the girls spring break are over, and what a lovely two weeks they have been!

Yesterday God blessed us with some BEAUTIFUL weather here in Northern CA, and it was the best last day of spring break they could have hoped for!  We went outside and I took pictures of Heather, Danilo, Nate, and Tim playing corn hole.  Boy was that fun!  Tim and Heathers team won all the games, but Nate and Danilo never lost by much!  Here are a couple picturs of some great fun.

Danilo Making a nice shot.  Or at least looking very professional.

Tim looking oh so cool as he makes a throw... hi followthrough looks a  lot like when he makes a shot in basketball!

Heather looks pretty schnazzy making a shot... She was much improved by the time they finished.

And as we can see, she made at least one point. *chuckles*

Nate was pretty happy about his throw...

And if I remember correctly, this shot was a close miss...

After playing in the sun for a while (it was actually a pretty warm day, maybe 70something?) we decided to go down to the creek that runs through our property.  The water was probably one degree above freezing, and that's why it was still moving.  It was SO COLD! Tim, Nate, Sean, Heather, and I all went in.  Danilo chose not to risk his life.  Heather ended up staying in the water for a pretty long time, along with Sean.  Tim, Nate, and I all got out pretty quick.  All in all it was pretty darn fun!

After we got back we did random stuff, just kinda hung out.  Brian came back from the Shepherds conference and we made dinner.  Brussel Sprouts, Pigs in Blankets, Fresh Strawberries, and a green salad.  So yummy!  Brian and I cut up the strawberries... we did a good job.

Tim, Nick, Danilo, Heather, and I all stayed up playing games until 3 when other people got up to finish getting read for them to leave. (oh yes, and mom stayed up doing some stuff on her laptop so she could get the girls up.)  They ended up leaving at pretty much exactly 4 in the morning, and we all went to bed.  I got up at 1:30 this afternoon.  THAT was odd.

And that was the last day of the JHBC folks being on Spring Breaks a the "Rawrs" house. I'm going to miss them, but the semester is going to be over in about 8 weeks, and those weeks will just FLY by.
